Located in Historic Burlington City, N.J., The Dime encompasses approximately 6000 square feet in the former McRorys 5&10 Building at 351 High Street. The beautifully renovated building is situated just steps from the Riverline, and in close proximity to Rts. 295,130, the New Jersey Turnpike, as well as I-95 via the Burlington-Bristol Bridge. The location is a short walk to The Delaware River, and High Street is the center of a busy
downtown complete with shopping, restaurants and bars.

The Dime offers private and semi-private work space to artists and makers of all disciplines, with over 15 spaces ranging in price from $85.00-$300.00+ /month. Additionally, the building features a beautiful 2,200 sf Gallery/Event space known as “The Stage” with original hardwood flooring, exposed brick and 14 foot ceilings. Performance art, drawing groups, Art exhibits and receptions are some of the activities held in the space. The Stage is also available to rent for private events.

It is our hope and goal that this facility becomes a place to foster creativity and serve as a symbol of community pride and involvement in the Arts. We are accepting applications for creators in need of space, who would like to participate in the exciting re-birth of this building which for so long has served as a meeting place for the residents of Burlington and surrounding communities.

 

The venture has been named “The Dime” as an homage to the buildings’ original occupant.
